The Mountain Top Boys is a Brotherhood of African-American men who share a common bond with one another. MTB was started in 1987 on the campus of Old Dominion University. The originator of the name Mountain Top Boys is Arthur Robinson, a Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity member. He coined the phrase one glorious Friday afternoon as four young men made their way to Friar Tuck's for Happy Hour. These four burly young men donned plaid shirts, boots and shorts which lead Mr. Robinson to call them "Mountain Top Boys", almost twenty years later the name still resonates. Kenny Morton, Winston Ware, Kevin McNeil and Jae Jackson would become what is now known as the OT or "Original Tops". Today MTB has around 20 members across the East Coast, all successful in there chosen field and many are loving husbands, fathers and role models. MTB4LIFE .
